The dual throttle system of this joystick allows for independent control of two motors. A locking system lets the user either attach the two throttles together, or keep them independent of one another. This joystick responds precisely to your movements, thanks to the H.E.A.R.T (HallEffect AccuRate Technology) magnetic sensor system, which offers 16-bit precision. The resistance on the buttons is identical to the resistance on actual airplane flight buttons, making the flight sim experience more realistic. In addition to the fifty-five fully programmable action buttons on this joystick, the HOTAS Warthog also has 2 four-direction hat switches, each of which has a push button (this joystick is the world's first to have such a feature). This joystick is equipped with T.A.R.G.E.T. (Thrustmaster Advanced pRogramming Graphical EdiTor), which is a software suite that allows you to test, configure and program the HOTAS Warthog. The Thrustmaster HOTAS Warthog has a detachable base.
