Matias Laptop Armor - Aluminum

The Matias Laptop Armor is a carrying bag for your laptop that is intended to provide extra protection against accidental bumps and drops. Using an all-aluminum outer shell the laptop bag is able to withstand drops of up to 10 feet (3 meters) without structural damage to the bag itself, or the laptop inside.

Matias has designed the interior to minimize the amount of impact stress that is placed on the corners of a laptop, which is the weakest area, while providing for flexibility in storage. Replaceable foam pads are the mechanism that Matias uses to accomplish this task by holding the laptop in the center of the case so the corners don't hit any hard surfaces. Since the foam pads are removable the interior can accommodate laptops of varying sizes and maintain a snug fit.

Alongside the main laptop storage area are 3 sleeves to store papers, folders and other slim document-type things. There are also three smaller compartments to store smaller items such as PDAs, notebooks or cell phones.
