Product Shot 1The Inbrics SoIP S1 is an Android-based videophone announced by Inbrics of Korea at CES2010. It can be used to receive phone calls, send text messages, and transmit video calls and digital media to an HDMI-compatible television.

Included is an integrated webcam for video chatting, a handset for carrying out a VoIP conversation, and a Wi-Fi router for maintaining a connection to the Internet. Operating the unit centers around the 7” WVGA touchscreen, while is also built to show off widgets and function as a digital photo frame. And although it’s not confirmed yet, the final version of the S1 should feature a credit card reader as well. Signature to the S1 is its full support for DLNA, giving it the ability it to work with compatible electronic devices from 240+ members within DLNA.

Additional Information

Additional features include a USB interface, integrated FM radio, and an SD memory card slot.
